MVM post is the work of Producer/Editor Macaela VanderMost. A storyteller at heart, Macaela got her start at XY.tv, where she co-created and edited over 200 episodes of Gen X and Y targeted real-life dramas. In 2004, Macaela had the opportunity to produce and edit at Viewpoint Creative, where she worked on world-renowned brands such as Avid Technologies, Discovery Channel, Reebok, Sci Fi Channel, WETV among others.

In mid-2006, Macaela made the decision to bring her skills to the advertising market, where she would focus on branded content for the web. Partnering with Digitas, she has worked on web video content starring Tim Gunn to the Jonas Brothers, and was the lead editor for the Downy Discovering Radiance Project, which was the recipient of a 2008 MIXX Award for Proctor and Gamble.

Macaela holds a BA in Digital Cinema from the New England Institute of Art, and prides herself on her ability to bring tone and aesthetic while staying on brand. She believes the foundation of an engaging story lies in the pacing, comedic timing, well-thought-out placement of each visual, music cue, and sound effect. She is technically skilled in both motion graphics and editing software, but above the technology, has a creative passion that comes through in all of her work.
